Orange County Birth Photography
Honest images that hold what your birth felt like
Intimate, documentary images of one of the most intense days of your life. I document the big feelings and the small details that make it yours — nervousness, determination, surrender, relief, laughter, touch, and the first moments of recognition.
Why document birth
A day you prepare for — and may remember in pieces
Birth has a way of feeling enormous and blurry at the same time. Your attention is exactly where it should be: on your body, your baby, the next contraction, the next decision, the next breath.
Photography gives you a way back to everything happening around that experience — the look on your partner's face, the hands supporting you, the quiet before a change, and the moment your baby becomes someone you can finally see. The goal is not to make birth look perfect. It is to tell the truth beautifully.

How I photograph
Documentary, unposed, and attentive
Birth does not offer do-overs. There is no “one more for the camera.” I work quietly and read the room, drawn to the gestures and relationships that make a birth personal rather than directing the experience for the photograph.
When light is low, the room is busy, or the moment is tender, I adapt to the birth rather than asking the birth to adapt to the photograph.

Privacy & consent
Your privacy, your choice
Birth photography is deeply personal. Your gallery is delivered privately, and you decide whether any images may be shared publicly.

The Gallery
Moments, honestly held
Labor, hands, partners, newborn details, and the in-between moments you may not be able to see while you are living them.
Sometimes the photos show you what you could not see
Parents are often focused inward during birth. Looking back can reveal the people loving on them, the small expressions between moments, and the way the room held them while they were doing the work of bringing a baby into the world.
On the images
Reliving the day through the photographs
We are so blessed by these photos and the moments you captured. Reliving that day through them was so much more positive than I expected — even during the hard parts, I can see all the faces around me, smiling and praying for me.
